Our client is one of the leading wedding venues in Florida, USA. They had no website to showcase their beautiful wedding venues and halls. So our client came up with the decision to make a website for their business. They wanted to digitize their business. They aimed to make the application with newer technologies that should be fast, easy to maintain, and follow the latest web application standard UI & UX.
While evaluating the client’s requirements, we came to know about the user base of our client. Most of the user base was common people. So, we needed to make the website UI really simple. After conducting meetings with client partners, we also came to know about the possible competition of our client. We looked at their website. The client wanted to replicate the website of their competitor but we gave them advice on this decision. After going back and forth with our client on this issue, the client decided to go with us on this matter. Also, after going through the document of client requirements, we realize that they needed a really simple UI/UX design for their website as most of their users are not super familiar with using websites.
Understanding the application’s requirements during our discovery process drove us into very important decisions. We chose the theme and got it approved right away from our client. The theme was simple and was really elegant in its own way. We made important decisions in the UI Designs and technology selections for the website. We all agreed on using WordPress as the base technology for this project with MySQL DB as the database. The main goal was to make the site SEO-friendly so Google can index the website quickly and easily.
We jumped into designing the main layout of the website with the close coordination of our client team, which led to the project setup and architecture design, DB was set up and connected to the website frontend. The most important part of this website was going to be its landing page where users were going to land initially. We gave a feature of a video which was being played in the background. It created a unique effect.
The project timeline was set up and scattered into weeks. We logged our process on a Trello board where clients can see our progress or the task that we are currently working on. It also increased our productivity as a team and helped grow the confidence of clients in us. We developed the site using the latest technology so that visitors would have a great experience across all devices. We ensured the website works on all phones alike.
Testing was required after development to ensure that all the dynamic fields on the site were pulling in the correct data. After thoroughly testing everything and making sure everything is working like it's supposed to be, we prepped for launch and deployed the website on a live server for the users to enjoy
